Another New Vehicle

Essential to complete our current projected work load and in line with our policy of continuously updating our vehicle fleet, Twenty Twelve Civils took delivery of another new HGV vehicle in January 2026.

Our particular specification, for our type of work, is fast becoming increasingly harder to source, i.e. Euro 6, low mileage, 18 tonne long wheel base ‘crew cab’ with a crane mounted directly behind the cab.

A ‘crew cab’ allows our drivers to carry their personal gear securely and in the dry and a crane immediately behind the cab, to enable us to carry out roadside installations while taking up the minimum of public highway. The most common configuration for modern lorry loaders is to have a crane mounted at the rear of the vehicle.

The day following its arrival at our Telford Park depot, the vehicle was fitted with a TfL compliant Progressive Safety System (PSS) required to work in London and within the M25.
