Twenty Twelve Civils recently completed the build of Clear Channel UK’s largest in-situ shelter

20 Bay Landmark Shelter in High St. Woking for Clear Channel UK

Twenty Twelve Civils recently completed the build of Clear Channel UK’s largest in-situ shelter. The 27.5m ‘Plate shelter’, having 42 glass roof panels and a 2 sided ‘Waferlight’ digital screen at either end, was completed despite some challenges as planned over 15 days.

Constructing the shelter proved a learning exercise for all parties involved and was seen very much as the forerunner for a larger 100 bay shelter for Clear Channel UK, also to be built in the Woking area.

The shelter will now come under the ownership of Surrey County Council and be maintained by Clear Channel UK.

Well done, Andy Nicholls, Ian Johnson, Reece Brundle, Paul Beasley, Josh Beasley and Dwayne Rippe for their work.
