Twenty Twelve Civils recently completed the build of Clear Channel UK’s largest in-situ shelter. The 27.5m ‘Plate shelter’, having 42 glass roof panels and a 2 sided ‘Waferlight’ digital screen at either end, was completed despite some challenges as planned over 15 days. Constructing the shelter proved a learning exercise for all parties involved and was seen very much as the forerunner for a larger 100 bay shelter for Clear Channel UK, also to be built in the Woking area.
